Barkworth at his best
This is a remake of a classic Francis Durbridge thriller, starring the great Peter Barkworth, brilliantly supported by Ronald Fraser and Joan Benham. Everyone has a cut-glass accent and decanters for their port and sherry. It is impossible to second-guess a Durbridge plot and I relished every moment.
Superb acting and suspense as the story slowly unfurls with numerous twists and turns. Excellent drama the way it should be-without swearing, nudity, a deafening soundtrack, guns or car chases.
