This lens is lightweight and takes nice images., sharp enough for my images that are compressed and only viewed on a web page. It is been used on my Nikon D750 and I have no complaints. My use of the lens for taking images of cars that I am selling and it does cover all bases with the ability to take wide enough photos for interior shots and long enough for external shots to keep the car looking as it should with regards to the perspective. All in all a great value lens for £200.

Although I paid a bargain price for this lens £129.00 boxed and in mint condition I soon found out like everyone else it is not a very good performer and luckily after a couple weeks my local dealer gave me the unbelievable trade-in price of £300.00 (yes you`ve read it correct)against a mint and boxed Nikkor 24-120/f4 VRII lens (this is the latest version) he had just taken in for £500.00 now this lens is a cracker and knocks spots off the 2 earlier incarnations of this type, the constant F4 aperture is the key in its construction and I would advise anyone to stear clear of the earlier variable max aperture versions ie F3.5 - F5.6 whether it the G type or the even earlier D type (a real howler!!)
great lens with amazing glass, more than enough clarity for my photo needs. and a very useful range of zooms
