I rented this for the children just before Christmas, instead of going to the cinema we had homemade popcorn and dvds, great night in. It is about a tamed bear called Boog who embarks on a wild three day adventure with a mule deer he befriends. As Boog is domesticated he has no survival skills and his world is turned upside down. He meets lots of animals on the way and they team together to unite the forest back into nature's control. My four children range from 12 to 2 and all enjoy it. It is comical, emotional in places and the characters are excellently created. I'm glad i bought it, you will be too.
Great movie, one of my daughters favourites. I love a good animation film and this doesn't get the credit it deserves. Little bits of adult humour. Ashton Kutcher is really good as the voice of the buck and Billy Connolly is funny as the squirrel.
