A good souvenir of a great ship.
A decent story, in pictures, of the first 60 years of Waverley's life. She has been longer in preservation than outside it! Mainly black and white, but with a colour section. I would have liked to see at least mostly colour as the subject and it's surroundings lend themselves to it. There are also brief historical notes at the beginning. This is not, nor is it intended to be, the definitive story, but is a special celebration of the ship: one that I travelled on in the 50s, 60s 70s and again a few years ago. A further journey was not possible, as she collided with Dunoon pier that year. A great way to travel! A big thank you to the people that saved her and continue to keep her going.
