something to expand your listening expierience .
heard the opening track many years ago on the radio and wrote it down and attached to my memory board in my studio . it was only when I was a car boot this year that I found one of their c.d's for a mere 50p and loved it so I tracked down this on e.bay and got it straight away . for the first time listener it is unusual but it grows on you and you can't live without it . if you get a chance get a copy as they are getting hard to find now as the original member has sadly passed away . Enjoy .

Preludes, Airs and Yodels
I came late to the Penguin Cafe Orchestra but this CD is a fine roundup of their work. The music (and the titles) are just so clever and amusing in ways that modern electronic based music often is not. Penguin Cafe Orchestra are something original on the lines of the Art of Noise but much more melodic. You may recognize some of the tunes because they have been used in adverts but they often just bring a smile to my face and brighten my day when I play them.
Penguin Cafe Orchestra
I have enjoyed listening to the Penguin Cafe Orchestra for a number of years. I agree that their music is not everyone cup of tea, but for a quiet hour it is ideal background music. I purchased this particular CD to play in my car, as my other tracks are either vinal or video. Once you have heard their music you will know where the sound tracks for TV adverts come from. gerry-atric
Music to chill by....
An album that I used to own and had lost of the years, I was delighted to find this on Ebay. It has lived up to all my memories and expectations. Funky, fun, timeless and entertaining, this album is a joy, it represents some of the best of the Penguin Cafe's repertoire. This album will appeal to a wide range of listeners - only the rap and house fans won't find something to like here!
