i bought this because i didn't have it on cd..only on cassette tape from when it came out. i would have bought it eventually but hearing 4 tracks from the album in concert made me remember how much i liked it and wanted to hear it again. it was a little revolutionary at the time in that it was a posh white man doing a kind of rap but at the same time being completely poppy and electronic and the boys being not-so-young as the crop of electro musicians were at the time. it was at the end of the period of influential electronic sounds and paved the way for a host of pop artists using electro and making it more widespread. the songs and music still sound modern for the most part although the psb sound has changed a little bit, any of the music on this album could have been done by the likes of la roux, little boots et al today. as per usual the songwriting is brilliant and clever.Read full review
