Our cat is the very timid type and has trouble with such issue as slipping around or between something. For her she actually finds this cat flap easy to operate, as soon as she hears the 'click' and she's through the door! We have used this same make of cat flap now for the third time. Okay so it's the third one but that's only because each one has lasted many years. Our cat now 16 and two others before her.

This is a basic, no bells and whistles cat flap which is exactly what I wanted. I bought it to replace one that my new, over energetic cat had broken (it was probably more than 10 years old) so I needed to replace with one exactly the same size and this was exactly the same size and mechanism. The magnet works as it should (would have been good if it included to magnet for collar as well). Everything works on it as it should so happy with product

Products must be a bit stronger a cat managed to break in because the arm where the mechanism is actually snapped off off-plan the release has just opened to let the cat in in it's the same product I bought before for the cat burglar broke in through the catflap
