Bought the same batteries from the same supplier (ups-trader) 6½ years ago, and they've only just failed — pretty good for an expected life of “3–6 years”, and way better than APC's own (more than twice as expensive) batteries, which only lasted 4½ years: at current prices and those lifespans, these are nearly *four times better value* than APC's product. The staff at ups-trader are also helpful, communicative and (on past performance) anxious to deal with problems quickly.
