I met Antonio twice. He was so warm and friendly. Antonio was well known, and not just for his cooking, for his wool-like white hair and thick Italian accent. You could not mistake him, that's for sure! This book, at first, I was reluctant to pick up and read. Because I knew the outline of what was in part of it - it hurts til this day, still, that such a happy and jolly fella like Antonio could be driven - but it is a good read despite the lows. He talks about food, Italy, growing up, his failed marriages... And he has been so open and honest about everything. But the best thing about this book, like so many others of his, is written in Antonio's words. Well worth the read. You're going to be missed my friend.
