Guess you would have to like Chili Peppers, but if you don't, why not? Excellent stuff from the band.

I must have bought this album about three times now, because I've listened to it so much, the C.D.'s won't play anymore. Which just about sums up how much I enjoy this album. It's the first offering by the "Chili Peppers" after their original guitarist "Hillel Slovak" had died, and the first album with new guitarist, eighteen year old "John Frusciante" It's also the first album with the "Chili's" line up as it is now with Anthony Kiedis (vocals) Flea (bass) John Frusciante (guitar) and Chad Smith (drums). It includes covers of Higher Ground originally by Stevie Wonder and Fire by Jimi Hendrix, plus now classic "Chili's" song such as Knock Me Down and Subway To Venus. It also includes the song Pretty Little Ditty, that rap act "Crazytown" would later take a sample from for their hit "Butterfly" In my opinion this must me one of the top three Red Hot Chili Peppers albums ever written.Read full review
So matter how many years after it's production, this album doesn't fail to impress. Personal favourite tracks for me are "Stone Cold Bush" , "Good Time Boys" and "Taste The pain".
