My teenage daughter chose this, although I would have been inclined to buy something better quality and a bit more expensive. It looks ok when constructed, although the top is cheap plastic laminated chipboard, and a bit tatty around the edges with chips to the corners before it was even constructed. My main criticism is that the legs are insecurely screwed to the top, to the extent that it's not possible to pick it up and move it. Looks good from a distance, but I'll be suprised if it survives daily use over the next couple of years.

It is a nice looking desk, and well designed it terms of function. The construction is not so good - I had to replace two or three of the screws with longer ones because the ones provided didn't grip the wood. The leg structure is not as solid as I would like, so I will screw it to the wall to compensate. It just happens to suit the bedroom perfectly in terms of size and looks, so am happy with it all round.

One draw front was badly marked on receipt although to give Sue Ryder their due this part was replaced very quickly. Other fastenings of poor quality and machining of some parts particularly the legs inaccurate.
