I purchased 12 very similar bowls from Amazon a year or so ago and one box of six arrived mostly in pieces so I returned the second box. I checked the review comments and discovered it was a common occurrence with this vendor. I searched the internet and finally - a year later - found them on UK Ebay! The price was reasonable and the shipping - though somewhat expensive but not outrageously so - did not deter my decision to order them. The bowls arrived in perfect condition and an exact match. Shipping was well worth the cost. I was notified several times during the process of where they were and when to expect them. I love these bowls! They are perfect for entertaining and everyday use. I use them for ice cream, sorbet, and sliced fruit at breakfast. They are sturdy and stack well so not to take up excess space in the cupboard.Read full review

I thought I was purchasing a normal size box of sundae dishes. I had intended using for prawn cocktail, cranachan and also trifle but you’d be lucky if they hold 1 decent scoop of ice cream. If you want something tiny to hold a tablespoon of trifle then this is the one for you. They are decent quality and came well packaged.

These are great little sundae glasses but after washing them in the dishwasher on a delicate cycle I was surprised to find I couldn't get them back in the box for storage. On closer inspection I realised they were all slightly unique probably due to being handmade, and heights may vary by up to 3-4mm! But they are still delightful glasses and a reasonable size; just a challenge to get back in the box!
