Can use my mp3 player in my car now.Brillient.Eesy to use and the condition of the stereo was excellant. The make is SONY and it is billing to its high standards.
I love these Car CD MP3 players i'm on my 3rd one due to selling cars I fitted them in! With a good pair of or 4 speakers the sound quality is amazing, sharp clear and good deep bass as well. I'm running Alpine 2 way 100W speakers seperate bass and treble speakers. You do need good speakers to get strong bass without distortion. It does go very loud indeed! The unit connects trough a front aux jack to a personal cassette player or mp3 so it is versatile. It has a couple of quirks: 1. To turn it off completely you have to hold in the power button for 5 seconds otherwise it goes into display mode - the unit tells you on the LED display what it can do and features it has! and 2. To turn it on you press the button marked source. It is strange. 3. I can not work out how to set the onboard clock it is not easy and straightforward. The front panel is removeable for security. It has the standard plugs so fitting to a modern car is striaght forward and takes seconds. I ran an Alpine subwoofer from the unit - it has a blue power output wire to activate the unit this is NOT a main power cable just an activator 0.5v supply. The unit has phono output sockets on the back so again installation of a sub is really easy. The sub can then be controlled by volume from the CD unit! Crossover is still adjustable on the sub itself. A real bargain and if you can find one you will not be disappointed. Thanks for looking.Read full review
Great product, this replaced my expensive Clarion unit I took out of my car before I sold the vehicle. The Cd player had a fair range of functions and worked well for a fair priced model.
Advantages = Extremely sleek when fitted in car Radio is great and can find all stations I want unlike my old one. Very good quality CD player a shows name of song even if it isn't an MP3 file!! Very good feature off auxiliary although I don't use it very often, I tested it out and works brilliantly. Disadvantages = The only problem I can think off with this top class CD player is that it looks so good that its almost 100 percent likely to be stolen . . . . but wait the front panel can be removed so there's about 0.00000003 percent of it getting stolen now. yayyyyy The main reason I decided to buy this CD player was mainly because of its 50w x 4 power that it offered and rear output for an amp to be plugged into although i haven't got an amp yet they seem fine. Altogether if you find this CD player on e bay or somewhere else for around about £50 or less go for it worth every penny.Read full review
