A great prequel to Victorian Farm
A great series, interesting, factual and well presented. Suitable for the all family, particularly the more senior members. This is a earlier than Victorian Farm, and uses a larger cast; but with the same format and main presenters. Originally shown on BBC Wales without much fanfare, so my parents missed it. Instead we are now greatly enjoying the DVD.

Tales from The green Valley. DVD
It was like travelling back in time especially being a metal detectorist as Iam locating their finds from yesteryear every week.John Morris.
Tales From The Green Valley
Turning back the clock to 1620 and seeing how our ancestors coped with life without modern conveniences . With Peter Ginn, Alex Langland and Ruth Goodman .
This is a fantastic series! Great for reviewing the Tudor/Stuart period and bringing it all to life. Well worth the money.
Tales from the Green Valley
After watching the Victorian Farm series on TV, I discovered this DVD which precedes the Victorian Series. You will recognise Ruth, Peter and Alex if you've see the Victorian Series. This 2 DVD set follows 12 months on a re-creation of a Farm from the 1620's, each episode is 30 minutes long and covers a month on the farm, which could be argued to be a bit of a rose tinted view it is nevertheless a fabulous watch. We thoroughly enjoyed every episode and were a bit sad when it finished. If you enjoyed the Victorian Farm I don't think you will be disappointed.
