Leighton J. Rees's meditations on love, loss, mundanity and everything in between shine in this eclectic set of poems. There are homages to icons, slices of dark humour, rhymes aimed at children; truly something for everyone.
Leighton J Rees (born 1983) comes from Swansea where he works as a biomedical support worker, he is a father of three young children (Gabriella, Kurtis and Evangelina), and is engaged to Rachel. He has always enjoyed writing poetry but started writing again more frequently after the birth of his first child in 2010. His favourite poets are Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Shel Silverstein, Ogden Nash and Emily Bronte. He is a big fan of most genres of music and boxing. This is his first collection of poems.
