I'm hopelessly devoted to Talk Talk. Alwa...ys have been always will be. What always shines out of their work is intelligence. This album of remixes is part curiosity because it's from the early days of remixes, how could songs be reinterpreted in a pre digital analogue age? It's also the case of being a must have because many of the songs only existed on vinyl, so collections were missing output. I don't think it adds anything to their reputation but it is precious additions to the Talk Talk catalogue on CD and for that reason its excellent.
This is a good album although ...defo not the best. Unless you are a real fan some of these might go on a bit. I am and that's why they all sound good to me. The "It's my life" from the Hammersmith Concert CD sounds better than the version on here which is really my only disappointment. You need to get the rest of the TalkTalk albums - go on - treat yourself!!!!
talk talk was undoubtely the most underrated group of the 8...0's. with the haunting lyrics and the awesomr voice of mark hollis they should have been bigger than they were. i have all of they albums and this is a brilliant addition to my collection. i love the remixes and it just gets better everytime i listen to it.
Great cd. I have always liked Talk Talk music ...from the 80's. Here you have the greatest hits in different mixes. Enjoy :-)
