It's very satisfying to play with this toy: you can squeeze it, pull it, pluck it, twist it, spin it, feel it, etc. and it doesn't flash or make noise. At first it left a slight greasy residue on my hands, but that went within a week or so. I was sent the blue version, and the handle/loop bit had already been snapped off, so it was missing. The item is not incredibly durable as two of the small balls have already detached from the tentacles - without being tugged particularly hard.

Unfortunately I don't rate this item as safe for a child who would needs it to help cope with stress. The colored tentacles at the end have all come off, so the quality is very poor and is not safe when trying to tell a child who has a learning disability, not to eat those parts that have fallen off. The child then become more stressed due to the item breaking and being taken away from them

Brought this to be part of a sensory set. It is not suitable for children as it will break easily and a child could swallow the plastic tentacles. The warning on the label also states not suitable for children under 3. Very disappointed by quality.

I thought it looked good and bought it for my autistic grandson. As soon as it arrived I lightly stretched the tentacles and the bobbly ends came straight off. When I looked all the ends were really thin much thinner than the ends by the centre. It was far too dangerous so threw it away. What a waste of money!

Very quirky - love it! Bought as a Secret Santa lucky dip present so not yet been opened. Not sure about its durability or whether it is educational, just great fun and colourful. Looks a bit Covid!!!
