In a thoroughly engaging style Geoffrey Tate examines the foibles that affect us all - fear at what goes 'bump in the night', what to choose for a Christmas gift, marrying for gain, romance as a youth in Italy ... A forgiving look at all our peccadilloes and a welcome addition to any bookcase of short stories.
Geoff Tate retired 25 years ago after a much travelled and varied life. He spent time in Malaya, South Africa and the then Southern Rhodesia. Past occupations include Government Service both U.K. and overseas, penultimate - County Fire Brigade as Principal Administrative Officer. He is now a full-time pensioner/writer!
