4 out of 5 was my score, but the original 3 Stieg Larsson books were more engaging, but Largercrantz did have his work cut out, to continue the story of such an amazing character as Lisbet Salander. See the films after reading the books, both the English speaking one with Daniel Craig(who tried hard, but didn't quite fit the bill, and Rooney Mara, who was magnificent and the Swedish subtitled version with Noomi Rapace. Larsson's trilogy plus the Largercrantz addition are so worth the read, but must be in order, obviously!

Read the Millenium trilogy, then this . If you are thinking of buying this book, and you haven't read the first 3. Then start with 'The girl with the dragon tattoo' Great story and characters. Such a shame Stieg is no longer with us..

David Lagercrantz carries on the story of Lisbeth Salander and all the other characters we have gotten familiar with in the first three Millenium books. In this book they get tangled up in the murder of a Swedish Scientist. Lisbeth is trying to protect the Scientists young disabled son, who witnessed the murder. I'm just over half way through the book and don't want to spoil the story for anyone who wants to read it. I'm thouroughly enjoying it. The narrative flows beautifuly, just like the original three books. If you're a fan of the Millenium series then I would recommend this book.
