Love this CD by the Goo Goo Dolls - let love in

Goo Goo Dolls - Let Love In
If you have never listened to the Goo Goo Dolls i strongly recommend you do so. Let Love In just strengthens th eAmericans reputation of producing melodic sing along tune wiht the title track leading the way. This is the ultimate driving music.
Goo Goo Dolls !!
I had only heard 2 of the Goo Goo Dolls songs(Iris and Sympathy) before i watched the Live In Buffalo DVD and it was magic.... so i dearly recomend this album to anyone who wishes to expand their CD collection as any of the Goo Goo Dolls CD's shall inspire you.... Let the Goo's In
Ever heard of Iris? Well this band created that masterpiece, only for Ronan Keating to cover it & probably have a massive hit with it. I digress. Iris is such a great song that I guess everything they do & have done since will always be compared to that track, and the album it appeared on "Dizzy up the girl",I know I will. So after their disappointing last album Gutterflower, their new album "Let Love in" is a vast improvement. The songs are good, and the album as a whole is pretty strong, if not mellow which works for me, however, I'm sure fans from the early days will probably not feel the same as I. "Let love in" seems to flow more than its predecessors, it starts well & gets better, for me the weakest song is the Supertramp cover. I could break down every song but why? it would be like telling you the end of a film you were half way through. If you liked "Dizzy" you'll like this. I think the only thing this album lacks is a decent rocky song in the vain of Dizzy or "Here is now" (Contradiction of my earlier comments I know) Bottom line, its a good consistent album, that most people could listen too without prejudice. Buy or Don't buy, Id say buy.Read full review
Let this album in!!!!!
this is an amazing album - Goo Goo Dolls at their best - its a lot lighter than their previous albums but deeper at the same time - fantastic album with a couple of songs from Rob which really compliment the rest of the album. Listen to it loud and you'll be singing your heart out :o) You'll def enjoy it!!!
