John Coppack was born in Lancashire, lived in Liverpool during his childhood before moving with his parents to rural North Yorkshire where he has lived ever since. John is a law graduate of the Universityof London. Until he took early retirement to concentrate on writing he held a senior position with a multinational healthcare company headquartered in the United States. In 2009 John published The Richmond Way guidebook which describes a 60 mile walk through the lower Lune Valley and the central and northern valleys of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
