A brilliant look at the past years of socialisum
This is an excellent look at the way things were just after the war and on to the 50s and 60s, It really shows how true socialism really worked for England, full employment and plenty of housing for all, great clips from the past and excellent interviews by people who remember the build up to great days gone past to the crushing of socialism in the 80s, this is highly recommended and a must to any history D.V.D. collection,
The post war dream
As I was born in 45 this had great meaning for me. Also I personally met and worked with the Welsh General practitioner featured. I recognised much from my childhood and lived that part of the socialist dream of everyone cooperating and working for the greater good. Now we are reaping Maggie's nightmare : "I'm all right Jack" a country for selfish and greedy individuals to reign and sod the rest.
