A must have Waterboys album - no debate
If you like the Waterboys and especially their more Irish folk influence - mixed with some Van morrison influence then you will love this album. Uniquely the Waterboys, great vocal clarity with probably more of their known classics than many albums, combining fast tempo numbers with classic ballads. Play it loud and enjoy - if you like them - you need this album in your collection.

I think this is a must have for every collection. It is a perfect marry of folk & rock. Its a very different album to Room to Roam which is also good but I think there is something more poetic about this album. As a fiddle player playing many bands Fisherman's Blues is one of the songs Myself and the other musicians I gig with most get asked to play, a truly beautiful song. It was lovely to own the CD as I had over played the vinyl years ago.

The Waterboys - Fisherman's Blues
This is a classic album, which combines all the very best elements of The Waterboys. Moving, very emotive, songs, that really grab the heart and soul, classic tracks, and my all time favourite, Fisherman's Blues, make this a really excellent cd to add to any collection. Fabulous for listening to on those winter evenings in front of the fire, or driving on those long country roads along the coast, perfect!!

Fishermans Blues - The Waterboys
I really like this album and it is one disc I would take on my desert island. I purchased this CD originally on cassette. It has been well played it has travelled all over the country and even accompanied me and my walkman into hospital. Sadly it has seen better days and new technology saw to it, that when we bought our new car it had to be banished to the cupboard. Then I saw it on on CD and again I can play it. I wonder if it will still be going in 2028!

the Waterboy - Fisherman's Blues
I have this on LP but no longer have a working turntable. I love this album, it takes me back to the summer of 1989 when I was in Lisbon for a few weeks and a friend and I went to see the Waterboys play the Bullring. What a night, what a summer. The first track - Fishermans blues- always cheers me up. It's just a great album from start to finish. So I really had to give in and get it oon CD. It's in my car constantly blaring out. People keep giving me funny looks though. What's that about?
