The Celica was the first Japanese model to claim the World Rally Championship crown. This book tells the story of the seven Celica generations and that of its close cousin the Supra with coverage of different road cars from the world's leading markets, and the story surrounding the many race and rally models based on the two vehicle lines.
Born in Coventry, Brian Long trained as a mechanical engineer, and became heavily involved in the classic car scene at an early age. He turned to writing by chance, but has now had over 40 books published since his first was released in 1990. He now lives in Japan with his wife Miho, son Louis, and daughter Sophie-Mercedes, although his passion for motorsport, old cars and all things mechanical remains as strong as ever.
