I've given it good feedback, even said it was stable. I have a more stable heavy and bulky stand. You have to be a little careful if its windy as it could blow over and damage your camera, so stability is its weakness. However with its lightness its so easy to put in a bag and carry it with you (exactly what I wanted it for). Its lightness means its feels like it could be broken fairly easily (again just becareful). But overall its functionality is amazing, it has all the features and more (mobile phone holder) than my more expensive stand including a spirit level. Delivery was really quick too. So I'm happy, and at under a £10 brilliant!

Weight negligable, but the metal is soft, so theres' a risk of bending the legs. However, for the price it's a useful bit of kit. Folds small, Stable, performs as advertised.

Wasn't expecting anything to scream about however this is a really good camera stand, personally had to mod mine to fit the head on properly and replaced a few screws/bolts due to them not tightening when angeling the head, but works great for taking VR Panoramics

For the price of this tripod you probably can't do much better. It's stable, does everything you'd expect a tripod to do and has a good amount of height extension overall, as well as a folding, sliding joint between the legs and the centre for extra strength and stability. The legs and all screw threaded sections (tightening and mounting parts) are all metal rather than plastic. It is not in the same league as a professional setup but you'd have to be delusional to expect that at this price. The very bottom sections of the legs are quite thin and do feel a bit delicate but if you're careful, store it correctly and only use them as necessary it won't be a problem. Otherwise the item is superb. It's very light and compact so carrying on a long haul is not going to be an issue. I would just be wary of its light weight when it's windy. It even came with a couple of things I wouldn't usually have expected at this price like a built in spirit (bubble) level, a simple mobile phone mount, and nice grippy rubber feet. I definitely recommend this item if you're looking for a cheap tripod that will get the job done.Read full review

I bought this tripod to for a single morning's work. I wanted to take photos of my flat. It was nearly 100% useless. The clamps do not stop the telescopic legs from sliding back in when the weight of a camera is on the tripod. The legs are very flimsy and you need to use a timer with a decent delay so that the camera has time to stop wobbling after you press the shutter button. The spirit level is obscured by the camera once in place. The clamp to stop the camera tilting forward and back is ineffective so that you have to be very delicate and balance the camera. The push-fit of the bracket into the top of the tripod is flimsy and loose. By the time I had taken my twenty photos the bracket had come out a few times and the tube was distorted. I used tape to hold the legs extended. I propped the tripod on chairs because it is so short. I used a ten-second delay on my photos. I just about got the job done. I then gleefully launched the whole thing into the recycling bin. Rubbish. Wasted my time. I was an idiot to expect more for £8!Read full review
