A few years ago I had a plug in voltmeter which was really useful and, as I needed an uprated USB outlet for my latest smartphone, I figured this could replace two items with one box. It does the USB function perfectly. My only reason for giving only 4 *s is that the display switches from vehicle volts to usb volts to usb current (Amps) after a few seconds. Sadly, there is no way to fix display on vehicle volts. Other than that it is a perfect accessory.

My old one which gave up after years of use would get a bit warm and I expect a device like this to get warm or a little bit hot. But this charger gets unbelievable hot. I used it to charge my phone on journey into work. When I arrived I unplugged it from the socket and the plastic casing was really hot, as I pulled it out the metal bit that slides into the socket first, was what I can only describe as dangerously hot. Would not feel comfortable to use again.

I use many different types of vehicle and i find the longer body best for using in trucks as often the cigarette lighher socket is toon deep to make a reliable contact. The longer body on this device overcomes this major problem. 10 out of 10

I bought this product because I thought that the adverts description of "3.1A dual USB car charger", meant that the dual sockets were both of 3.1A output, but no, the 3.1A refers to the combined output of the two sockets ie 2.1A & 1.0A, just like a standard product. Imaginative advertising is the kindest way I can put it.

It says it quick charger but is working for 5 sek and then back to standarty charging. From 50% to 100% it take only 5-6h to charge. Sic! My phone is Samsung s20+ and is brand new. Do not spend any peny, isnt worth.
