Used on a Ford S-Max 2013, worked a treat. Sealed well on flud resevoir though cap seemed a touch to big at first it wasnt (didnt need/use little hose on the cap with this car as has the resevoir extension container thats very shallow). NOTE - Do not just use the recommended pressure, CHECK YOUR MANUFACTURERS MAXIMUM PRESSURE FOR FLUID SYSTEM. The Ford S-Max system is only 15PSI MAX, much less than the generic / average suggested pressure in the instructions - going over YOUR cars max could ruin your ABS. Otherwise, held pressure (make sure you do the dry test first) - just check fluid level and re-top up pressure for every wheel, dont skimp on fluid in the tank (or you could force air into your braking system). Makes the bleed job for brakes and clutches so so mcuh easier, and better, easy for one person. Wish I ahd got one years ago! Earned its cost back in one job. Is annoying though it does not come with the other sized cap or universal cap - both can be bought serperately.Read full review

As with other reviews of this item, it is good, but it did leak air, this one around the pressure gauge, a small o ring sorted it. Bought knowing that it may leak air as they all seem to leak some were ! but it is other than the leak a well made item which now sorted and should give good service, which is why overall it is good quality. I did also clean the cap tops of any excess plastic as an other review stated.. Best to pressure check first before use to find the leaks. Hope this helps someone.

I bought this to bleed the brakes on my Golf Mk6 and was pleasantly surprised just how good it was. It’s well made and very easy to use with clear instructions. Had previously tried vacuum bleeding which wasn’t successful. It would be even better if Sealey included a small plastic bottle and tube to connect to the bleed nipple. I had to find some suitable alternatives. Overall very happy and will use again on my other cars.

After reading Spec's for several Brands of these Pressure-Bleeding units, I eventually settled on this Sealey VS820, it is a Brand Name that I trust for quality. I have followed the Instructions to the Letter and Bled both of my BMW's, a: 3 series E46 330i Sports Tourer & a: 3 Series E36 323i Coupe'. I did a complete brake fluid flush and Bleed, (Including the Clutch slave cylinder's) on both vehicles. It's the first time ever that I've done a complete fluid change, only bled brakes the old fashioned way previously. I had NO Problems at all. The Pressure Release Valve on this VS820 makes it easy to finish off too! The tube inside (good quality firm tubing) goes straight down inside the right side of the vessel, so once you've finished bleeding, the Master Cylinder reservoir is brimmed, just tilt the whole VS820 unit onto it's left side so that the tube bottom is out of the fluid, open the last bleed nipple again until the fluid level in the Master Cylinder is correct or just below Max, lock off the Bleed nipple, press the pressure release valve and remove VS820 cap from the master cylinder. Hold the VS820 cap up in the air to drain any fluid in the tube back into the main tank, and wipe any drips with a rag, job done!! All of the fittings on the Sealey VS820 scream quality, and I can recommend it without reserve. Hope this helps someone out there who has any doubts about the item. - 5***** Read full review

I found this useful but in someways it’s not much better than the older type that work off a tyre. The master cylinder cap fits my newer cat but not my old one. The universal ones are not much good and the multi type sets are very expensive (though I did see another make much cheaper). I ended up having to buy a new Gunsons tyre type kit to get a suitable cap. Good that it holds plenty of fluid though and should give higher pressure for ABS systems if cap fits!
