  Link remover quality

  I purchased some individual link pins some time ago, bu...t got a bit fed up of having to hold them on the top of the ink and then hitting them with a small toffee hammer. I thought this would be a better idea as I purchase many watches which in the case of the stainless steel bracelet type I have to remove up to 3 of the links. What a waste. The little pin on this particular item which pushes the pin through, broke after removing the first link. I was astounded as to how thin this thing was and could have done better with a straight pin. The handle is all wobbly and is very cheaply assembled. I cannot recommend this item, it really is not strong enough to do a good job, sorry, but there we are.

  Really poorly built and difficult to use

  This product looks OK on paper but ...it isn't. Don't buy it. The screw mechanism has no proper guide so when you are trying to centre the rod on the actual watch strap pin it is really difficult and moves all over the place. You can damage your watch strap. (as it did on mine). The width of the guide is about 23mm and with a watch strap of 22mm wide it is virtually impossible to see where the pushing rod is, let alone centre it on the watch strap pin. Consequently I damaged my ceramic watch strap and even bent/broke the pushing pin. It is made of 'monkey metal'. Mine is now in the bin!!! My advice is; buy a more expensive one which has a proper guide and finer screw thread so you can control the pushing rod accurately.

  Cheap, but does the job

  It broke while I was using it but I put it back toge...ther and pretty much got what I needed out of it. Knob on the side was near impossible to twist. Clearly very cheaply made but it worked so I won't complain.

  Didn't fit my watch strap

  I can't stay much about it as it didn't fit my wat...ch strap. I used the pin, but apart of that, I couldn't use the rest. The materials used seamed very cheap, but I guess that's what I paid for. The delivery was super quick though
