the whole thing. none of the actors/actresses were convincing at all. really cheap budget film. looked good on horror channel wen advertised
This is a british made film. It could of had more story line to it. It stars ray winstines daughter. also chris barry from red dwarf. It has got some good sfx (special effects) in the film also cgi (computer generated image) This film to me is the type a college student would make after graduating. Its ok in its own way i supposse.
when evil calls
did film was not as great as i thought i expected it to be really good but turnt out to be a film mostly about gore, different ways that someone could be killed and was really anoying with it keep cutting out to a bloke tellig the story
Pretty rubbish really
This horror/comedy film was originally made for download on mobile phones. To be honest, that is a medium to which it is best suited, as blown up to full-screen proportions on a proper DVD setup, the films rather poor digital "horror" blood-and-gore effects are shown up for what they are - pretty laughable. Sean Pertwee as the "janitor" makes a series of really bad, unfunny annoying jokes and adds nothing to the movie except as linking material to each 'chapter' which is obviously how it was made available on download in the first place. Even the way the "wish" text message is shown on screen when everyone receives it gets annoying after a while. Sure there's plenty of gratuitous nudity and T&A shots, but they are spread across a series of unfunny, ridiculous and predictable vignettes interspersed with equally unfunny puns and jokes from Pertwee's character trying to link each one into a coherent movie. It doesn't work. I'm not even sure why "Red Dwarf"'s very own Arnold J. Rimmer (the very funny Chris Barrie) would lend his name to this project. Even the scary clown character on the DVD cover looks suspiciously like the one from Stephen King's "IT". I wasn't that impressed. Even at just over an hour in length it still managed to outstay its welcome with me which is not a good sign for any movie let alone something so short. This just failed to deliver on so many levels that I can see me selling my copy on again on eBay very quickly. I just don't think I'll get that much for it though. Even at 99p I would still feel cheated having paid for this, and no amount of female nudity will change my opinion on that score. Not good. 3/10. And that's being generous.Read full review
