From the mid 1990's he wrote for the football club's Legion of Light Magazine and was the first editor of their official website now safc.com. Paul's family have had a relationship with the Wearside club for nearly 90 years as his Grandfather first saw Sunderland AFC play as far back as the early 1920's.
