Will Ferrell, what can I say? You just have to look at him and he makes you laugh! This collection is a must have for any fans and a must have for anyone who enjoys comedy at its rawest and most ridiculous. It is an excellent overview of his best films since as earliest as 1998 with A Night At the Roxbury, a fave of mine about two slapstick idiots with one goal to get into the coolest club in town. Of course the boxset includes Anchorman : the Legend of Ron Burgundy (maybe an extra appendage of The Legend of The Funniest Comdey character ever?!!) many times voted funniest film ever, this boxset includes the sequel Wake Up Ron Burgundy. I think this is genius: anyone who enjoyed the main film shall find much mirth in the various outtakes and rewrites this film offers. To fill up the bag is Superstar and Old School two other excellent films just showing the breadth aof characters and humour Ferrell brings to the cinema. And finally Blades of Glory, a slightly more poilished affair progressing from the news room to a Sport themed Ice Skating ridicule. Someone lent me this boxset ( i had already seen Anchorman) and I went straight out and bought a copy for myself and one for a friend. Essential viewing, essential comedy. For the die hard fans you can really see Ferrells comedic character and fortes develop through the roles he is given throughout these films. Each one a gem in its own right. I shall summarise with an excerpt from Anchorman: Ron Burgundy: I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. Veronica Corningstone: Really. Ron Burgundy: People know me. Veronica Corningstone: Well, I'm very happy for you. Ron Burgundy: I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.Read full review
