I have 4 kids so needed to upgrade to a 4 cycle carrier. I couldn't justify the cost of the expensive market leader with a similar name as 'tool'. I decided on this due to price and reviews. It came in a box and needed built up. The instructions were hard to follow in places and took a few swapping of bolts due to slight difference in length but got there in the end (took about 3 hours and I class myself competent with this type of thing). All done and looks the part. I've had it on the tow bar and seems sturdy enough (not been a drive yet fully loaded). The tool for tightening the bolt that clamps the unit to the tow ball could be better i.e. more like a ratchet head tool would be better but realise this would cost more. All in all, I'm satisfied with what I get for the money.

Bought this as our old carrier was too small and too fiddly. This carrier is quite heavy, but it comes with the added bonus of having the clamping arms to hold your bike in position, as opposed to the old one I had where you need to bungie the bikes to uprights which got very tedious. With this I can mount the carrier and then all four bikes in less than 10 mins. The only thing that would improve this is the the little ties that hold your bike tyres in position, they are quite fiddly and when not holding your bike can fall out. Putting it all together took an hour or so, alot of nuts and bolts, I'm a DIY but, but I even found this construction challenging. All in all a good carrier for the price.

Arrived 2 days earlier than was stated which was good, nice & compact even though its for 4 bikes, well made and easy to assemble. Lighting socket is 13 pin not 7 so had to get adaptor but very happy other than that issue.

I have a T6 with rear doors not a tailgate and the doors don't open, even when it is in the dropped position with no bikes on! Not good!!

Great value for the occasional user, but the supplied instructions need some improvements as they are not clear which way up parts should be installed and I am a very competent DIY person. If I was to buy again I would upgrade to the Zx304 from the 204 Just for the ease of tow bar attachment.
