I recently purchased a Pro Cross-Trainer and I am very pleased with it. From unpacking it. I initially found that the quality of the build is very good and the machine came partially assembled. This left about half an hour's work to complete the assembly. Once assembled the cross trainer works very well and the combination of walking and cycling, gives a decent exercise. There is a good, large display which displays Calories burnt, speed, time and distance and pulse. The contrast on the display is a little dark and would be better if the display was either adjustable or backlit. As it is slightly hard to read when in use. My initial impressions of the Pro Cross-Trainer are very good. Though it may be wise to frequently check the tightness of all nuts and bolts as the machine recieves quite a pounding when in use. I use this machine when the weather is bad aswell as cycling and walking. It makes a great companion for other types of exercise. There isn't anything that I can say about it that's bad. It represents good value for money, if you don't want to be tied to Gym membership. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Read full review

No better time to write than whilst using the cross/bike at the 500km mark. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere, I read all the good reviews before buying and gave the cross/bike the benefit of doubt. Easy to assemble, cheap - that’s all the pros this machine has! (Never expect gym quality equipment when on a budget!) Cons, many! The seat - excruciatingly painful to even stand after 60+ mins using as a bike feels like I’ve been sat on a cold steel beam, even bought a gel bike seat cushion in hope that it would make it bearable to use and it hasn’t. I don’t know why they put handles on it as they are uncomfortable for biking, and the cross training ones are so far inclined forward it feels like I’m scrambling on all fours.

Easier to assemble than I expected and works well, compact and very good value! I did add some locknuts on the cross-trainer handles to keep them tightly in position. A minor drawback for me is that the cross-trainer handles swing a long way forward in use, as I'm not very tall - they might be better for a taller person with a long reach. Also the calorie counter seems to be wildly inaccurate (clocks up about 4 times too much!) and it's not clear whether it could be calibrated. But I'm sure a lot of users will have a wrist exercise monitor anyway.

I was a little sceptical that a cross-trainer at this price would be good and safe enough for my family to use, so I was surprised when I put it together just how sturdy and of good quality the product is. The instructions are clear enough and I like that it comes with the correct tools to assemble so putting it together was pretty easy 1hr. The adjustments and controls are simple and it does what we need it too. It's a little early to review the results of the workout but it is most likely that if that doesn't go to plan, it's unlikely to be the cross-trainer's fault!

This is just what I need to help get my legs stronger so my hip wont be so sore. It was easy to put together. just follow the instructions. it is light enough to move quite easily. The friction adjuster is easy to use, and the seat is fairly comfortable.
