About us

Gem Sleuth is a small online jewellery retailer, originally founded in memory of a late family member, who knew a thing or two about gemstones. Inspired by the vibrant colours and natural textures of gemstones, she built up a large collection of new and vintage pieces over her lifetime. Bought largely as an investment, most of the jewellery you'll find here are one-offs, sold as new or open boxed, still tagged and in their original packaging. Today, Gem Sleuth sells a combination of fine jewellery from established brands like Gemporia and TJC, as well as one-off vintage pieces going back to the 1950s.
