About us
Kiltech, best known for its award winning Lockshield anti theft system, began making Roof Bars in 2006 to preserve the jobs of skilled craftsmen from the MG Rover supply chain by making a quality, no nonsense product. Those original pioneers grew their company into the highly successful Aiko Design and supplied quality roof bars until the last of its founder members retired in August 2023 whereupon the company was re-acquired by Kiltech to continue the tradition and to look after the Aiko Design customer base.
