    BEWARE!! SUSPECTED SCAM. I purchased an item as a Christmas gift for my wife. The item did not pass E Bay authentication, it was returned and a refund arranged. The seller contacted me separately claiming that the only reason the item failed was a bent pin, and offered to sell it to me directly. I suspect they may be trying to by-pass E Bay authentication, and do not accept that E Bay could cancel a sale for such a trivial reason. E Bay have not informed me of the true reason for failure.
