About us

Every penny raised from sales goes towards the specialist care that we provide to patients and families across North Derbyshire & the High Peak

Ashgate Hospice is an independent charity that cares for patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across North Derbyshire. We provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care free of charge to people aged 18 and over. While our purpose is to provide end-of-life care, our work doesn’t only begin at the very end of someone’s life – we strive to improve quality of life soon after a terminal diagnosis.

Each year, we care for thousands of people across North Derbyshire at our Inpatient Unit and in people’s homes in the community.

Charities like ours rely on the donations and the goodwill of our supporters so we can fund the care we provide. We must generate around £3 million in sales from our community and online shops, so we’re incredibly grateful for your support. We couldn’t provide our care without you.

Im rating my experience as positive due to the sellers response and willingness to sort out this issue. Although frustrating, time consuming and costly, the seller has promised to refund in return of the item. The item did not arrive as described. Console was completely scratched which wasn't shown in the photos or noted in the description. The console also smelt really bad of damp, which again wasn't noted. One of the controllers also did not work, again, not noted in the description.
