About us

We have been a registered charity since January 2000.
Our objects are to assist as many people as possible, primarily in the Felixstowe area.
In 2013 we were the first charity in the UK to introduce 'Pop-Up Shops' having been inspired by a shop in Devon where excess supermarket items were being sold.
Our idea involved collecting surplus items from all major high street supermarkets such as Marks and Spencer, Tesco, Waitrose etc and making the food available to anybody via our Pop-Up Shops. They are now located throughout Suffolk and have been replicated throughout the country. These offer affordable food to literally thousands of people suffering from food insecurity every week.
Our two charity shops provide funds to assist local people in need and to enable larger fundraising initiatives. In 2021 we donated £20,000 of cutting edge equipment to nine local schools and in 2022 we have donated £10,000 worth of equipment to local nurseries.
