Blue Island Home was set up with one single ambition: to sell high-quality handmade furniture at sensible prices
WE DESIGN with emphasis on simplicity, durability, sustainability, and luscious finishes. Our aim is to delight – creating pieces that make an impact on space, with volumes and surfaces that demand to be touched.
WE MAKE in our workshop in Chichester, West Sussex using a combination of traditional hand tooling and advanced CNC robotics. All our finishes are hand sanded and the vast majority of our finishes are polished, also by hand, for satisfyingly tactile surfaces. All of our products are made from the highest quality materials. Timber is sourced from European sustainably managed forests. Finishing products including stains and lacquers are developed and manufactured in the UK from the very best suppliers. All finishes are light-fast and highly durable.

It’s beautifully built and finished and just looks great underneath my 42 inch. This unit was very well packaged for delivery and arrived in pristine condition. My only minor niggle is when the bass gets heavy, the sliding doors rattle, but this has been easily rectified using thin felt strips glued to the top and bottom, keeping them rattle free.
