About us

Welcome and enjoy a virtual stroll through Burman's Basement. Sure, I could have opened a graphic design museum and curiosity shop, but instead decided it would be more fun to sell 50 years worth of stuff on eBay. A dear friend of mine used to say, "We spend the first half of our lives collecting things and the second half getting rid of them." Burman's Basement is what my second half looks like. Been a graphic designer, artist and art collector forever. Originally from Baltimore, living in Miami since the 70s. You'll find Interesting anedotes included in many of the descriptions of VINTAGE GRAPHIC DESIGN items from t-squares, floppy disks, early versions of software programs, old Macintosh computers, prized paper company samples and so much more including 33 RPM RECORDS, CASSETTE TAPES CDs, lots of BOOKS especially GRAPHIC NOVELS, ONE-OF-A KIND ORIGINAL ART WORK (mine and of artists I've collected), let's just say many, many, many one-of-a-kind and curious collectible items.
