About us
The Adana Agency, founded in 1922 achieved great success selling printing presses around the world to hobby & commercial printers.
The popularity of letterpress declined & the fortunes of the company waned until Caslon® Limited purchased the company in 1987.
Since then we have continued to supply the 8 x 5 printing machine through a unique refurbishment programme that uses original parts.
In 2017 production of a new 8x5C machine, capable of greater pressures than the originals commenced.
Adana still manufactures refurbished & new presses with everything needed to create beautiful letterpress printing. We offer Starter Kits which include everything needed for your first steps in letterpress.
Letterpress certainly can’t be mistaken for a photocopy or a lazerprint and therefore provides a degree of security. It has its own distinctive look and feel. When you see good letterpress printing you realise it leaves a lasting impression in more ways than one.
