About us

We're an electronic components web retailer based in Hampshire, England. Cool Components started trading in 2004 because of the difficulty of finding useful electronics stuff' at a reasonable price. Now, all these years later, we've served hundreds of thousands of happy customers, many of whom come back time after time.

Our customers include hobbyists, makers, students, academics, and institutions including universities, NHS trusts and commercial companies.

We sell well-known brands including Arduino, Sparkfun, Raspberry Pi, Pololu and many more. We were one of the first companies to sell affordable non-kit 3D printers in Europe, and we're continuing to push frontiers with DNA research technology and unmanned aerial vehicle innovations.
