About us
In early 2020, Charles and Ashley started Homestead BS. It began with a dream, a garden, and a small collection of pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and rabbits. Over the past year, the couple has tended to their animals and gardens, built pens and enclosures, all the while working full time, Although having little agricultural experience but lots of enthusiasm and crafting skills, Charles enthusiastically researches, questions, and employs his imagination to create a thriving homestead. Ashley and Charles are by no means professionals, but are skilled at faking it and occasionally making it work. "Lots of laughter" is the key to making life work on this modern homestead.
