When the item arrived it was longer than I expected when fully collapsed, but I hadn’t read the description fully so my fault. Once extended, which is a very simple design and easily accomplished, the stand works well with my spotting scope. A bit of practice might be required, but I’m confident I’ll get great use from it. For the price it’s excellent. It appears to have been made in Germany, which makes a refreshing change.
