About us

Lighthouse Furniture Project Ltd is charity and social enterprise based in South Essex that collects unwanted furniture and appliances and sells them a low cost to support those on low incomes, in poverty or crisis.

Each year we divert approximately 400-450 tonnes from landfill and use those items to support between 2,500-3,000 households each year with low cost items. Buying from us ensures we can offer those in crisis items either reduced further or if necessary, free of charge.

All of our large electrical appliances are tested by qualified engineers and come with a 6 month warranty.
