About us

Incorporated on Christmas Eve 2021 by us, Tristan and Jay. 
 
We both love everything about watches, having owned them for many years! Tristan got hooked in 2013 with the purchase of a stunning Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece MP6439, and Jay started in 2019 with a Tag Heuer WK1110, a classic diver watch! 
 
Mainspring started off as a true hobby business, one that has stayed this way ever since! Our focus has always been to enjoy what we do and help customers with good old-fashioned customer service.
 
We opened our beautiful Farnborough HQ in August 2022 for appointment-only viewings and a place for our customers to meet us, talk watches, and see what we have in stock.
 
We always aim to buy what we love and would wear, putting our own neediness and relentless passion into every purchase we make. If we aren't fans and wouldn't wear it, we don't buy it, simple!

    Wow. Absolutely 1st class sellers. The watch was better than described, the communication was excellent, I requested a delay on postage due to not being available, they accommodated my request with no hesitation. If you are viewing one of their items and hesitate, don’t. Pull the trigger. What they describe is what you get. Even the verifiers couldn’t find a fault. I will most definitely ONLY buy my luxury used watches from Mainspring. Amazing.
