About us
Plants by Ogie Placido was born out of providing hard to find plants in the UK especially Aloe hybrids and Monkey's tails Cactus.
My interests started with Aloe hybrids way back in 2019 and captivated by the range it can offer. And with the generation that are living in small spaces but wanted to have some colours and character in their window sill. Or just to add up in their collection but don't have enough space to do so. These plants are a perfect type to do it. I have have managed to get some of the best seed-grown aloe hybrids and well known named cultivars from US hybridisers that I am now propagating.
The monkey's tails cactus came into fruition because it is rarely offered here in The UK. I set up a plan to import the plants from Europe before the checks has been implemented. And so far, I have already sold thousands of plants all over the country and made the reality many collectors have them in their collections.
I do have a wide range of Carnivorous plants too.
