    I ordered and paid for an in stock item (hammer) which was confirmed by email, I was contacted and informed due to a pricing /stocking glitch my item would not be sent unless I cancelled the order and paid the new price, or contacted the seller and agreed to pay the extra they were requesting. The price rose from £4 to £19.33. Their competitors were selling the same item for around £14.08. The day after receiving this message, the exact same item was being advertised on Google for £4.

    I purchased five items that were advertised at sale price ... however, two days later the seller emailed me informing me that the price was incorrect due to a ' glitch' - The seller then cancelled all of my outstanding orders without engaging in any dialogue. I don't doubt that the pricing error was as a result of a genuine technical issue although how this wasn't noticed sooner by a professional seller is difficult to understand. The situation was handled poorly by the seller though.
