About us

Refurbit began as a council-owned department managing IT recycling for schools and public services across Hull and Yorkshire. Now a registered charity, we operate from a 6,000 sq ft warehouse, focusing on cost-effective IT solutions and sustainable recycling. Our mission is to promote the reuse and recycling of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) to reduce landfill waste and provide financial relief by donating refurbished IT equipment to those in need.

We specialize in free IT collections, WEEE recycling, and secure data destruction, serving businesses, schools, charities, and individuals across Hull, Yorkshire, and nationwide. Our commitment to sustainability, security, and exceptional service ensures electronics are recycled responsibly, and data is handled with care.
