Roughed out by an assured hand and the trace cuts/pencil marks indicate the artists intentions. A kneeling Venus through 20s/30s modernist lens . Good value.

  This seller advertised a plate as ‘perfect’ condition but it wasn’t. It had knife scratches to its top centre. On return the seller required me to pay for all shipping at £15.00 which was not on me, and far in excess of the true cost. This item was falsely advertised without any risk or responsibility on the seller. Frankly, I feel deceived by this ‘’shop’. EBay should look into this blatant ability for sellers to escape responsibility and put all risk on buyers despite false advertising.

  This "buyer" purchased a USED meat plate, a plate people carve meat on with steel cutlery, and was surprised when it arrived used. "Damage" is abuse such as a crack, chip or stained crazing. Use to a secondhand object of his nature is to be expected and often found charming as it imbues history.It took myself and my partner 30 seconds at least to even be able to see this "severe damage', having to tilt the plate in various lights to do so.I advise this individual to only buy new from now on
